Preparing for Ranger U!

The weekend of June 18-20 will be a very exciting one for 26 lucky crafters: the Ranger U Summer 2010 session will be in full swing!  Three full days of hands-on instruction by Tim Holtz, Suze Weinberg and Claudine Hellmuth... what could be better than that??

It does take a lot of preparation and organization behind-the-scenes to make sure each session of Ranger U goes smoothly.  Here are some photos of our staff pitching in and getting everything all set!

Dabbers

Tim's assistant, Mario, painstakingly organized our Ink Blending Tools by color-coding them with Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers.

InkTools

Oooh pretty!

  Scissors

Baskets of Tim's Kushgrip Snips, Inky Rollers, Mini Misters, Archival Ink, White Opaque Pens and more, all ready for the students to use!

  AmericaGloriaSetup

Ranger employees America and Gloria prepare dozens of products to be shared amongst the students.  (Anyone want to play I Spy and tell us what products you see??)

DebbieTimMarioSetup

Ranger's Photographer/Graphic Artist Debbie prepares even more product kits along with Tim and Mario.

ClaudineSetup

Claudine makes sure every place setting includes the MASSIVE course schedule and syllabus.  The syllabus is chock-full of step-by-step instructions for more than 70 Ranger techniques, including techniques for Perfect Pearls, embossing, Melt Art, Studio paints, Distress products, Adirondack Inks and Paints, and so much more!  Phew, these students are going to learn a ton!

Food

...And of course we have to make sure everyone is nourished and well-fed ;-)  (Tim is particularly excited by the Nerds Rope!)

So now that you're insanely jealous of the Lucky 26 (hee hee), perhaps you are wondering how you could apply for a future session of Ranger U?  Head on over to the Ranger U page of our main website for further information.  This January we will be announcing details regarding the 2011 class sessions, so be sure to watch for updates!  We will, of course, keep you up to date on this blog and on our Twitter and Facebook pages as well.

Sandra

Wow i'd love to go to one of these. Too bad it's halfway across the world :(
But everyone who is going, have fun!

Jarina

Oh yeah - I am insanely jealous. But living in Denmark, it will probably never be more than a dream. But definitely getting a green hue to my skin tone here :)

Thanks for sharing and showing - must be awesome to attend and learn. Could we get pics of the students and Ranger U in progress to, once you have it all rolling? Would be great to see as well.

I think I see: Claudine Helmuth studio paints, Aidrondack Color Wash (love these!), Distress re-inkers, distress crackle paints, just to name a few!

Me? Jealous? You bet I am!! ;) Would love to attend Ranger U!! The amount of creativity is just insane. I love it.

Hope everyone has a blast.

That looks like so much fun!

But to far for me! Coming from the Netherlands :(

So many yummy things both creative and edible! I've turned a lovely shade of Lettuce down here in Australia. Have you considered bringing Ranger U to the great land Downunder?

uhmm.. let's see. I spy with my little eye: distress re-inker, Adirondack paint dabber and colorwash, distress crackle paint, Archival ink, all sorts of tools, alcohol ink, embossing powder.
have fun Ranger U!

Looks great, wish there was something like it going on a bit nearer to home!! Have a good time you all!

This is sooooo unfair. After looking at all of the photos, I feel like I'm standing in front of a craft store, money in hand, but the door is locked. I want to go in and play, play, play, play.

Everything looks so yummy!

I am envious that's for shure! As for the products- uteeh, rock candy, sticky back canvas, Caudine's paints, re-inkers, distress ink, colorwash by Adirondack, multimedium, stickles, alcool ink, embossing powder and ????

i'm getting mega frustrated seeing all these yummy goodies and promises of workshops going past my eyes and not being able to take part.
when are you all coming up to Scotland? I've got accommodation .

would it be possible at all to do an online course between the 3 of you which we could buy.

I spy....Adirondack Color washes, Claudine paints, distress stickles, Archival ink pads, and that's without my eye glasses!!

Hmmmmmmm looks like so much fun. I wish I could be there.

Ranger U was the best creative time I have ever have! Would love to do it all again. To everyone who is going - enjoy every moment!

what a cool set up and what an honor to be able to be there!

I want to be there!!!!!!

Salivating - and not because of the food! Sure looks like lots of work goes into this and I really wish I could be there!

Wow what a lucky bunch of people makes me wish I lived in the States but alas I'm in Canada you all need to come up here and teach as well...

So... jealous at the moment. What lucky women. I see Claudine paints, Rock candy, Mario has a bag full of distreesing tools, ink pads next to Tim. I hope the Ranger U application will except scrappers without any teaching or class experience, just an ordinary person who wants to take the time and learn all the Ranger tecniques from the experts and use all the creative knowledge for personal use.Enjoy the weekend!!

This is AWESOME!! I'm all Shabby Shutters with Envy!!
