HUGE News!!

We've been sitting on this little (ok, HUGE) secret for quite a while at Ranger Industries, but now we can finally share the news with the world...

We're teaming up with the fabulous Jenni Bowlin and have created an all-new signature designer line with her: Jenni Bowlin for Ranger!!

JenniBowlinForRanger
The Jenni Bowlin for Ranger line is comprised of 12 gorgeous colors that will be available both as dye ink pads (and re-inkers) and as acrylic paint dabbers!

All of the color names were inspired by items that you'd find in a mercantile or general store, which goes hand-in-hand with Jenni's vintage-chic design aesthetic.  Check out these colors, how great are these??...

JenniColors
"Oooh, I love them!  When can I get my mitts on them??" you ask?  We will be shipping the Jenni Bowlin for Ranger products in August, so look for them in your favorite arts & crafts or scrapbooking shop soon afterward!  And if they don't have them, beg them to order some! ;-)

For more information check out the official press release at rangerink.com.

Which of the Jenni Bowlin for Ranger colors are you most excited to add to your crafting arsenal?  Let us know in the comments!

From Jersey with Love...

We at Ranger hope that our fellow Americans had a very happy Independence Day (and hopefully a long, relaxing weekend with which to celebrate it)!

Maybe some of you spent your weekend BBQ'ing with family, or watching fireworks, or maybe even catching up on some craft projects?  But it's a safe bet how most Ranger employees spent their holiday weekend:

Shore
At the Jersey Shore!!

We know, that phrase now conjures up images of The Situation and Snooki to most of the world.  But since the Ranger Industries headquarters is located in Tinton Falls, NJ, the Shore is like a second home in the summer to most of our employees.

Did you know that almost all Ranger products are manufactured right here in our NJ facility??  All of our inks, embossing powders, paints, glitter glues, dimensional paints, and stamp cleaners are made right under our not-so-little roof!  Everything from product conceptualizing to color matching to the mixing of raw materials to final packaging is done right here.  So, you can rest assured that when you buy our products, not only are you buying the best-quality inks and paints available, you're also buying American... and New Jerseyan!

And that's the REAL Situation at Ranger!

New for July on RangerInk.com!

Did you know that on the first of every month we update the rangerink.com homepage with a new slideshow? The slides usually feature a brand-new video, a new tip/technique and a new project tutorial. This month is no exception, and July's new web features are now live for you to see!

First, we have a video from Claudine Hellmuth (and hosted by a certain Mr. Holtz) where she shares a cool technique for embossing on the sticky side of Studio Sticky-Back Canvas!  It's a great way to still get some use out of a piece of Sticky-Back Canvas where perhaps your art on the front side didn't go according to plan... now there's no need to throw it away!

Then, we have a fun brayering technique using our jumbo Big & Juicy Rainbow Ink Pads and our large Inky Roller. Learn how to create this quick and easy gift tag for a loved one's next birthday!

July2010Tip

And last but not least, check out the tutorial for this fabulous mosaic flower card that was created using strips of Gloss Paper colored with Adirondack Alcohol Inks!  Awesome or what??

That's just a smidge of the rangerink.com web updates we have planned for this month.  There will be many more to come... after all, CHA is coming up, right?.... and you know what that means....!!! ;-)
