This past weekend, the Scrapbook Expo trade show was held at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, NJ. We went to check out some of the booths that were using Ranger products!
The Red Bee were crazy about Stickles! They had bins of them:

Stickes were also a favorite at the ScrapbookPal.com booth. We loved the way they displayed them:

Shari Morris, a teacher at Scrappers Cove, demonstrated a watercoloring technique using Distress Inks:
She wasn't the only one demonstrating with Distress Inks, though! Breigh Frances at the Melissa Frances booth was using Distress Inks in her Make and Takes:

Great news! Collage artist extraordinaire and Ranger Signature Artist Claudine Hellmuth is offering a brand-new online class this summer that will focus on Composition for Collage!
From the class description: "Do you ever create a project or artwork and think – this just isn’t working, but I don’t know how to fix it!? This is where composition comes in! In Composition for Collage, you will learn tricks of the trade to help you create successful compositions without creating visual overload – specifically in regards to mixed media."
Pretty fun, right? The class lasts for 4 whole weeks from June 2nd to June 29th, and includes audio, video, slideshows, handouts, chats, message boards, and more. Those of you who are loyal readers of Tim Holtz's blog and Twitter feed no doubt already heard the latest news coming out of the National Stationery Show: Tim is making his debut in the world of stationery, gifts and home décor with his new "District Market" collection!
This collection of note cards, journals, note pads, tissue paper and tote bags was inspired by Tim's idea-ology craft products. We are very excited about the District Market collection and we will have it on display in our booth at CHA Summer 2011, so be sure to stop by and check it out! We will also have the collection available to store owners via our Business-to-Business ordering site, with product shipping this September. So, keep an eye out for District Market at your favorite shops this fall!

We will be playing another round of "Name That Product" tomorrow! This is a game where we post an abstract photo of a Ranger product (it could be an extreme close-up or a distorted shot) and you have to guess what the product is. The last time we played "Name That Product," we gave a prize to the first person who correctly identified the product in our blog comments, but this time, we will be setting a 24-hour time limit and choosing a random winner from all of the correct responses received within that span of time. We hope that this will give our international friends a chance to participate, too!
