Ranger's Creative Director and Signature Artist Tim Holtz has created a great new video that explains pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about Distress Stain, including the new opaque white Picket Fence Stain!

Check out his video to learn some awesome tips for getting the most out of your Distress Stains, and be sure to visit Tim's blog to see close-up photos of the techniques demonstrated!

That's such an awesome video. I'm sure it's one I will refer back to several times. Tim does such a great job of showing us how to use Ranger products. Now to get my hands on the white picket fence stain!! I can hardly wait - of course I'll need a few (or lots) of the new colors out! LOL Luv this stuff! Thanks...

I want that white picket fence distress stain! can't seem to find it in my area. all the great inspiration from tim's video. thanks for sharing

Caught this yesterday on Tim's blog! GREAT video!! :)

Oh man, I love these stains, and own quite a few of them! I know I'll be referring back to this video and have tried quite a few of these techniques myself....now I need to get the White Picket Fence!

Does it color grunge board well? I am having a hard time finding something easy to use that will put color in grunge board, especially the already textured grunge board. I can get color on the higher parts of it but it takes a lot to get it into the lower areas of the textured grunge board.

Gotta get that picket fence stain!! This video was so very helpful to help me understand the differences between the products.

Great video. Now I know I NEED some Picket Fence!

Great video, saw it on Tim's blog. I got some great tips from it.

Thanks for sharing this video!! I've been waiting for one using distress stains.

L.o.v.i.n.g....the Distress Stains...bring on the White Picket Fence! What a unique twist!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE distress stain, and that picket fence is a must have!

I love, love, love my distress inks! I have all of them except Picket Fence but I want to get my hands on that one too!

Really cool video :) just got to have the picket fence after seeing this !

Saw this yesterday on his blog - great tips!

Gotta love those distress stains!

The video is great - as always - and I NEED all the colours - I only have about 6 or 7, though I do have picket fence, which is as fab as Tim says....

He did a great job... as usual!! The stains are easy peasy and so fun to use!

I just watched the video (don't usually do that b/c it takes up too much time) and boy was it worth it! Fantastic to see him stamp with Distress Stains and then watch him go over parts with a waterbrush. Thanks for sharing! Distress Stains just moved up to the top of my buy list :-).

So Cool!!

This video was very helpful.. i'm glad he made it!

Distress Stains are fabulous!!

GREAT Video!!! Thanks!! Answered my questions and then some! Love the stains and the picket fence!!

Great video. I saw it on Tim's blog yesterday. Awesome product. I'm loving everything I've done with it. Can't wait for my picket fence to get here.

wow, here I was thinking that I wouldn't really *need* any stains, since I have so many distress inks....but now I am questioning that line of thought, lol....

This is such a quick way to get the colors down on paper and then spritz on the water. Picket Fence adds a lovely painterly effect as well as opening up even more options for blending.
