Adrienne said: Love the flowers! I actually decked the halls early this year because of Thanksgiving plans. We usually decorate the day after Thanksgiving, since we were going to be out of town, I wanted everything up when we came back. Lights on the outside of the house, tree on the main level and one in the basement.

Joyce said: I made wreaths from Xmas papers, wire, bells and ribbons to go around candles. I like this simple idea from Claudine. You have to love the Sticky Back Canvas! Great product!

Leslie Brier said: These flowers are fantaastic! This year I am going to deck the halls with less traditional colors - I'm throwing in silver and pastels into the mix. Claudine's yummy paints have all the best colors!

Linda B. said: Ooh! So many lovely JBS stylin products on this "faux" tussie mussie. I'm going to be making desk calendars as some of my homemade gifts.  I hope the recipients will like them. vicki in MD said: This is a wonderful project - I am going to have to squeeze some time in to make this. I am altering those IKEA mirrors and embellishing 2 with angels for both my mother and mother in law.

Lisa S said: I always enjoy Jenni's projects--this one included! Love the colors. I'm making a lot of gifts this year, including mini books among them. Several of my books are specific for the hobbists in our family--the photography book keeper is my favorite so far...and still a work-in-progress. =)

Lynne W said: Gorgeous tag!!! Love the pop of red!! I pretty much distress everything. My new fave is to use distress embossing powder on the edges of my LOs....awesome look, and it adds more texture!!

Barb Cady said: Brilliant! Thats what I love about your products, whatever the time of year, whatever the season, whatever the occasion, whatever the weather, they can be adapted! I'm off to my room of stash to have a go!  Thank you.

Julie said: I love this tag! Love the crackle paint "snow" and the awesome woodgrain background! I had a similar idea to make red "cardinals" with the bird die! I don't make much of anything without pulling out my distress inks and inking tool to finish the edges. I also love to add a very light layer of old paper or antique linen to tone down colors on patterned papers.

Storm said:  That's an awesome technique that is next on my UTEE list! Up till now, I either use embossing-powder-coloured UTEE to fill Mold n' Pour molds of small toys and trinkets to hang as beads and charms, or I dip stamped and beautified paper directly into the UTEE pot to seal, crackle and sparkle it up! I use one UTEE pot, but I have 2, just in case!!!!! loveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEEloveUTEE

Donna said:  Fabulous card, love the snowman & snowflakes!! I made little Christmas tress last year using UTEE, turned out great!!

Lisa M said: This is SUPER adorable! (And I don't even like snow! LOL) Nice job, Suze, as always. I don't make a lot of holiday projects, so I can't say I've used UTEE for that, but I took a class last year wherein we made little "cubes" of UTEE w/ photos on the back and decorated a picture frame with them. It looks really cool. :)

Congratulations to all!   We still have more holiday projects to share, so come back to visit us.

Project: Jenni Bowlin Vintage-Style Banner Ornament

Today Jenni Bowlin is our featured Signature Designer.  She created this really simple and fun project that can be used to decorate your home this holiday season, for gift-giving or both!

Jenni-Bowlin-Holiday-Banner-Ornament
The glossy finish on the JBS Chipboard piece is perfect for blending Jenni Bowlin Dye Ink (as you will see!), and the rub-on resists the ink and retains its shiny gold finish, even after rubbing the ink over it.

Jenni also rubbed just a bit of her Malted Milk paint across the star trim to make it stand out.  Here are the complete instructions.  For more inspiring projects created by Jenni, visit her website and blog.

Will you be making any handmade gifts this year?  Let us know all about it for a chance to win some Jenni Bowlin products.  Three random winners will be chosen.  We will announce the winners on Tuesday, November 30.  Come back to see if you won.

Check back tomorrow for more holiday inspiration by Designer #3.

Jenni Bowlin Dabber and Dye Ink Halloween Tag by Ranger's Marketing Coordinator Patti Behan

Patti discovered a bewitching background effect when combining the two on an Inkssentials Manila Tag.

The color palette of Jenni Bowlin inks and dabber paints are a fresh burst of color with a nod to all things worn, old and tattered--just right for this project.

Organization 101: Ink Pad Label Sheets

Continuing our Organization 101 series... also known as "How to Make Room for Even More Ranger Goodies!!"

Did you know that we offer free Ink Pad Label Sheets on the rangerink.com website?  These sheets, available for Adirondack, Archival, Distress, and Jenni Bowlin for Ranger ink pads, are formatted to be printed on an Avery 5267 label sheet (or anything with a similar label size: 1¾" x ½", 80 labels per sheet).

All you have to do is download the PDF (you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it) and print it directly onto a label sheet.  Then just stick the labels onto the sides of your ink pads for easy organization.  You'll be able to stack your ink pads or store them on a shelf and still be able to easily retrieve any color you want!

Labels1

And, if you want to get really fancy-dancy you can always ink the labels themselves to have a color reference as well as the name of the ink on the side of the case. (EDIT: for dark colors you might want to just edge the label with the ink so the type is still legible.)

How do you keep your ink pad stash neat and tidy?  Share your favorite organization tip in the comments!
